Michael Kitson is the owner of the WineRackStore.com He has designed many of the products on this site. He has also designed many other products from award winning show cars to furniture. Michael also directly manages the plants manufacturing these products, ensuring the quality is always the highest possible. His goal is to give customers the greatest products at the best possible price.

Michael was born in Vancouver, BC, and grew up in the Lower Mainland. While attending Simon Fraser University, Michael graduated with majors in both Economics and Geography. Michael married Denise Allen, and they completed their family with their children, Natalie and Matthew. After graduation he worked in the banking and lumber industries, but Michael was always drawn to designing and creating. In 1994 the Kitson family moved to Olympia, Washington, and Michael created AmazingUniverse.com, with WineRackStore.com soon to follow.

AmazingUniverse.com, and WineRackStore.com, gave Michael an outlet for his creative design abilities. In addition to wine racks and furniture products, he created many display products used by retailers and mass merchants. Michael's most recent creation is the Wine Coffee Table. This elegant and functional piece is an exciting beginning to a new line of furniture available at WineRackStore.com.

"Current furniture is just too boring and impractical", says Michael, "Our furniture is designed to be focal points - items that everybody will want to talk about!"

These days, Michael is busy creating bedroom and family room furniture that is designed to be functional and fun. Michael believes furniture should reflect its owner, and is designing pieces that will be customizable to do just that!
