Our Amazing Redwood Wine Racks are a member of the Cupressaceae (koo-press-AY-see-ay) family of conifer trees. It is not exactly like the endangered Redwood found in Northern California; there are some important differences. Our Amazing Redwood tends to be whiter in color, with closer growth rings and straighter grain. The closer grains means it is stronger. It is also less likely to warp. Our Amazing Redwood is very resistant to rot and disease. It sometimes can have a slight aroma which quickly dissipates once it's removed from its packaging. We believe our Amazing Redwood is very beautiful because it clearly shows the grain better than other wood species. Stains and paint can be easily applied to our Amazing Redwood Wine Racks.

Indigenous groups use similar types of Redwood for everything from canoes to boxes and even clothing. These trees have been used in temples that have stood for many hundreds of years. This family of Redwood trees ranges widely in both North America and Asia. Trees grow regularly to 30 plus meters (100 feet) in height. Redwood is popular in plantations and reforestation environments. In many societies, it has even become a sacred tree. It is the national tree of Japan and in the United States, the Redwood forests are nationally protected areas.

Our Redwood wine racks and wine cellars are made from the finest quality wood. They are strong, extremely durable, and will last for generations. Owning a Redwood Wine Rack is an investment for the future.
