Wine Rack Store is proud to announce an exciting winery event today at Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery. Located in beautiful Wenatchee, Washington this vintner will be featuring Confluence Jazz Band from 6-9. Since Faire Le Pont means to “Bridge the Gap” it might be necessary to extend this holiday in your own wine cellar after you’ve had your fair share of the vino and music. As for moi, my fair share would be ransacking the winery and guzzling down every last drop like the god Baccus on a rampage. But then, Baccus would have better manners.
I’m hoping you all will join fellow wine lovers and jazz enthusiasts for this opportunity to relish the gorgeous view of the Cascades. The interior of the brick building constructed in the 1920′s will knock your wine charms off. It’s stunning and surprisingly cozy since the installment of the fireplace and generous leather couches. I’d like to see if anyone can make me budge after I’ve collected my favorite bottlings, cheese, and bread.
If you can’t make it to this event today, fear not! The winery features jazz every Thursday. Or, you could schedule an event of your own. I recommend perusing the wines they produce on their site and hope that none sell out before you get there. I’m already heartbroken they’ve sold out of their 2006 Riesling! Of course, the gold medal winning 2005 Tre Amore at $39 per bottle is still available. I’d also love to taste the Voignier which is a new release from 2007. The winery describes it as “creamy and lush” with notes of honey, peach, and orange blossom. My mouth is watering already!
