Gracing spot number 6 on our list of Twitter’s Most Followed Wineries is Tassel Ridge Winery in Leighton, IA.  Tassel Ridge is a great winery that makes wines from cold climate cultivation.  They also produce a quarterly publication called Simply Extraordinary that highlights winery events, the cold climate varieties grown at the winery, and how you might pair them with your favorite foods.

You can tour Tassel Ridge (and other wineries in Iowa’s wine country) to learn how their grapes become award winning wines.  If you’re lucky (and weather is permitting) you may even get to travel through their vineyards on the Grapemobile!
