Not just for it’s catchy name, Wannabe Wino, definitely made our list.  The author, and occasionally her husband, write fun and interesting reviews on all different kinds of wines.  The reviews are great because not only to they include your “typical” tasting notes, they also include price per bottle, closure type, and (my favorite) four things the author took away from drinking the wine.  These things could be anything from pairing ideas to the feeling  she got when drinking the wine to a random thought that popped into her head inspired by her drink.  Another thing we absolutely love about these reviews is that they appear to be genuinely HONEST.  She always makes mention of whether or not she has received the wine as a PR sample and is unafraid to say that it might not have suited her palate.  Seems as though a lot of wine reviewers only post about the things they like which can be a little biased.  Word of warning though, reading this blog does have a tendency to make you thirsty!
