For anyone in California during the Valentine’s Day weekend, looking for something fun to do, consider Napa’s Wine Train. They will host Love Train Dinners February 11-14th plus a Lunch on the big day itself.
I was so used to hearing people say that their favorite wine was a Merlot or Shiraz that it took me quite by surprise to find that a particular friend liked Malbec.

The Boston Wine Festival 2011 is already on, and some of the events have passed. This is, however, a long-term event. With some tickets around the $300 mark you may only want to attend one night, but the opportunity is there, not to mention ample choice of themes to tackle.
